She has spent time in the recording studio, lending her voice to a recent album and the new video game No Rest for the Wicked. You may also recognize her name in the credits from a long list of Los Angeles produced reality shows.

Andrew sings and is the lead-guitarist for Mara & the Charm. He got his first guitar in third grade and says he spent the first couple years jumping around his Texas living room to KISS and Beatles’ records. Andrew is known for nailing complex lead solos with perfect tone. He is also the tallest member of the band at 6 foot 3 inches.

Rick, who hails from the Kansas City area, is a multi-instrument specialist, playing keyboards/synths, saxophones, bass guitar, and singing leads as well. Prior to relocating to Seattle, he performed in venues throughout the Midwest and has worked in numerous bands playing a variety of musical styles, including as keyboardist in a Prince
Rick, who hails from the Kansas City area, is a multi-instrument specialist, playing keyboards/synths, saxophones, bass guitar, and singing leads as well. Prior to relocating to Seattle, he performed in venues throughout the Midwest and has worked in numerous bands playing a variety of musical styles, including as keyboardist in a Prince tribute and for ten years with the show/dance band Kokomo. His musical influences include Paul McCartney, Victor Wooten, Rush, and the Police.
A little-known fact: Rick practiced law in Springfield, Missouri.

John plays bass guitar and sings in the band. He’s played some 10-thousand-seat stadium shows, including opening for rocker Rick Springfield. He also had the chance to play bass with the iconic R&B band, the Drifters. John refined his craft playing nearly 12 years, six nights a week in the Hawaiian Islands—not a bad gig! John has other t
John plays bass guitar and sings in the band. He’s played some 10-thousand-seat stadium shows, including opening for rocker Rick Springfield. He also had the chance to play bass with the iconic R&B band, the Drifters. John refined his craft playing nearly 12 years, six nights a week in the Hawaiian Islands—not a bad gig! John has other talents, including being a published poet, and having played Division I volley ball.

Mark has been playing in bands since his teenage years growing up in the small town of Sedro-Woolley, Washington. He’s played rhythm or bass guitar in more than 20 groups over the years. In his early years, he was on the road with a Seattle-based-group, playing six nights a week across Washington, Alaska, Oregon and Idaho. Stendal is responsible for Mara & the Charm bookings.

Jeremy plays bass drum, snare drum, toms and cymbals. He has been playing drums on random objects since he was six and honed his skills in Minneapolis playing any gig he could get. However, he needed to find a day job and now works as a sports medicine physician in Seattle. Jeremy is known for always smiling while drumming as he is having the time of his life and brings the audience along. He is also the newest member of the band.
Mara & the Charm are made up for five well-traveled veteran musicians and the big voice of singer Mara Baker.
Mara & the Charm has a large repertoire—from Hits of 90’s to the popular Yacht Rock, from One Hit Wonders to a high energy dance set.
